Your goal is resetting your eating habits along with your body's homeostasis and hydration levels.  This is not a lose weight quick plan!  However, ALOT of people see 3-10 pounds disappear in 3 days.


How to Detox...It's Simple!  Let's Get Started!

What you will need:

(If it’s not on this list, don’t eat it!)

  • 3 SHAKEOLOGY Shakes per day  I believe Chocolate tastes the best.
         Blend it with water and ice – no milk, almond milk or soy milk!)
         Don't have Shakeology yet?
             You can actually try a whole month for only $2!

              continue it!)
  • 2 cups of green tea per day
         Triple Leaf Detox Tea is a favorite!
         I like my Kuerig Celestial Seasoning Green Tea / White Tea mix, too!
         Any decaf green tea will work
  • 3 pieces of fruit per day if you are Working Out (to provide calories)
         Apple, pear, orange, berries, etc.
         No bananas for 3 days
         If you are not working out try to stick with 1 fruit per day
  • 1 salad (or 1 1/2 cups of dark green steamed veggies) per day
         Lettuce, legumes, veggies etc.
         No peas for 3 days
  • A few pumpkin seeds / almonds on you salad will add oil, fiber and antioxidants.
  • Low-Fat Dressing for your Salad
         Extra-Virgin Olive Oil with Balsamic Vinegar is a great salad dressing.
         Commercial Salad Dressings add sugar and 'toxins'...avoid them!
  • 4 oz lean protein for your salad at night
         White meat poultry or fish
         Grilled or baked preferred
  • Water!  Lots of Water!
         Divide your body weight in 1/2  ( e.g. 200 lbs / 2 = 100)
         Now that is the number of ounces (maximum of 80 ounces per day)
         of water for 3 days!
         (Be aware...you will need a bathroom nearby for 3 days as you lose a
          ALOT of water weight!)

IMPORTANT! NO DAIRY for 3 DAYS!  (no almond, soy, or rice milk!)

Easy Shakeology Cleanse Plan!

More Good News!  Your daily eating schedule will be the same! Your energy level will be the same!  You will not feel 'tired'.

You'll be eating ~ 800-1200 nutrient-dense calories.  One goal is to pack the most nutrients into the least amount of calories per day so you will still feel great!

You will still be eating enough to fuel your workouts AND your day!  Now that you've committed, stay with it for 3 days for real results.

Easy Shakeology Cleanse / Day by Day Example

First Thing:

  • 1 cup of green tea to start the day

Breakfast:

  • 1 scoop Shakeology (140 calories)
  • 1/2 cup of fruit (60 to 90 calories)—optional
  • Ice to taste
  • Drink 1/4 of your total water for the day

Snack #1 (85 calories):

  • 1 piece of fruit (apple, pear, orange, mango, etc.)

Lunch:

  • 1 scoop Shakeology (140 calories)
  • Ice to taste
  • Drink 1/4 of your total water for the day
  • 1 cup of green tea or a detox tea

Snack #2:

  • 1 scoop Shakeology (140 calories)
  • Ice to taste
  • Drink 1/4 of your total water for the day
  • You can have this snack before or after dinner

Dinner:

  • Salad plus grilled white fish or poultry (roughly 340 calories)
    OR
  • Greens—3 servings of GREEN vegetables plus 4 oz. of grilled white meat (fish or poultry)
  • 2 tablespoons of dressing—no more!
  • Drink 1/4 of your total water for the day

Will I get hungry during this 3 day Shakeology Cleanse?

Shakeology is very filling, especially if you’re taking it three times a day, plus consuming the other foods/drinks!  There may be a day you want to skip the 3rd Shakeology due to being 'too full'!  You can listen to your body.  If you get a little hunger feeling, you can manage that with a small piece of fruit.

Will the weight I lose be 'fat'?

No.  The purpose of this cleanse is to reset your body at the cellular level to jump start its peak performance. Your continued Beachbody workouts and eating smart will melt the fat over time!

The weight you lose is water weight flushing out the toxins.  You may also lose weight from losing whatever else has been in your colon 'for a long time.'

Will I have loose stools?

Unlike those horrific cleanses, likely not.  If you're used to nutrient-rich Shakeology, you likely won't have loose stools.  However, your bowels and body may have a wake up call as it is resetting itself.  Stay near a bathroom until you are sure!

I will tell you that you will pee ALOT for 3 days.

What complications could happen with this kind of body cleanse?

If you have a medical problem, you may want to check with your physician prior to undertaking the Easy Shakeology Cleanse.  Most healthy people sail through and discover a strange sense of self discipline developing as they feel better, 'lighter' and energized.

Don't let the family's dinner plans or office party knock you off track.  Your health and fitness are more important than their meal!

What about Caffeine Withdrawal?

Other Beachbody coaches addicted to caffeine stopped it cold turkey on the day they started the cleanse and report no withdrawal headaches!  I believe that is due to the hydration and the super nutrients in Shakeology!

Most report staying off caffeine after the cleanse because they know their whole system has been reset!


How often should I repeat this kind of quick nutritional cleanse?

Most hard-core Beachbody coaches do this cleanse 3-4 times a year.  It is recommended just before you start a new Beachbody Workout...not in the middle of one.  Remember this detox cleanse if you need to break a plateau.

Can I take other supplements during these 3 days?

I don't recommend them. 

Can I do the Easy Shakeology Cleanse for more than 3 days?

Because this is an extreme calorie restriction (about 800-1200 calories per day), it is not recommended for more than 3 days.  Some people will stop after 2 days because they have the results they want.  You do not want to put undue stress on your health and wellness.
